2019. A year for passion, growth and fun.

Updated: Dec 3, 2020

It seems that for a lot of people, including my family, that 2017 was a year filled with challenges and change. Then 2018 came around and for some, things started to shift into a positive light. While for others, the challenges and changes were not quite done. I believe 2019 is a year for passion, growth and fun.

Through these challenges and difficult changes, growth has happened, new experiences were had, and new adventures were lived. I believe that we are spiritual beings on a human being journey. That we are here, not to find ourselves, but to recreate ourselves. Who we chose to be is up to us. How we chose to live this life is up to us.

The great thing about life is that it is unpredictable and in constant state of change. There are always opportunities for change and for growth. Opportunities for new experiences and adventures.

Look back on the ups and downs of the past year, chose to focus on the ups. Re-live the emotions felt at those times and remember how it felt. Stay focused and follow your passions, dreams, goals and never give up. Life is a playground where we can choose to learn, grow, live, love and have fun.

You have heard the sayings… “When the student is ready, the teacher will come” and “We attract our tribe”. I have too. 2018 has been a year of change, a learning, of community, of new friends, and of finding my way towards my passions and life goals. A clear path has been placed in front of me with all the tools needed. All I have to do is follow that path, use those tools, and believe in myself.

What will 2019 be for you?

This year, for me, is a year to grow as a blogger, as a writer, as an educator, as a creator of valuable content for you, the readers. To pay it forward through my blog, Instagram and Facebook page. To help you help yourself on your journey to health, happiness and success.

We are never going to be as young as we are now. We are never too old to dream and to grow. Start now. You are worth it.

We all deserve to be healthy, happy and successful. Nancy Shimmy
