My husband and I – May we never grow up as we grow older.

Updated: Dec 3, 2020

Yesterday was so much fun. My husband and I went on a day trip to visit his parents as well as his sister who was visiting down from Victoria, BC. It was a nice break from our day-to-day normal activities. It was just the two of us. We even took out the old 95 Mustang GT for a spin. That is the car he had just bought 2 weeks prior to meeting me way back in 1996.

I love this man to the moon and back.

The thing about my husband is that he loves to to make me laugh to tears anywhere public. He waits until no one is looking to do this and then when someone does look over, he purposely composes himself into the “innocent-I-have-no-clue-what-her-problem-is”. His other pleasure is to tease me until I retaliate (by punching his shoulder), at which point he proceeds to act like he is in pain. Yep… people think I am the nutty one.

So husband being the man that he is …

Yesterday, as we are sitting in a quiet restaurant waiting for our meal, proceeds to make me laugh so hard that my abs hurt🤣, tears were running down my face 😂 and I even snorted 😮!!! Yes folks.. that loud snorting laugh sound. Which only made me laugh even more. In the restaurant at Mavericks! LOL. The waitress thought I was nutty. Of course, Bill looked completely innocent.

This man is the love of my life and happens to also be my best friends. We are children at heart. We may or may not run around the house chasing each other at times as a result of him teasing me. 😉 😀

I believe our relationship to be strong thanks to our quirkiness and candidness with each other. We have been married 20yrs this past July. May we never grow up as we grow older.

Yours in health, happiness and success, Nancy Shimmy
